      Current vacancies

      HNZ has established itself as a premier air transport provider to offshore oil and gas operators in New Zealand, Australia and throughout Asia maintaining a steady growth in utility, offshore and special mission operations within Australia. Two great opportunities exist within the New Zealand region for experienced Licenced Avionics Engineers.

      1. Engine & Airframe Engineer (Phnom Penh, Cambodia)

      This position requires proven ability to work autonomously to plan and carry out line maintenance and modifications. Client focused and highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are important, as is a strong safety orientation and astute situational awareness, with the ability to operate in isolated and pressured environments.

      Desirable Skills / Competencies / Experience:
      NZ CAA Pt66 licence (or foreign equivalent)
      Rotorcraft Category - Group 2 Helicopters / AS350 airframe
      Arriel Engine rating

      2. Engine & Airframe Engineer (Vientiane, Lao)

      This position offers sought-after challenges, experience and stability for an engineer with two years experience in a similar role.  Working in a team environment you will play an active role in the ongoing maintenance for our AS350 helicopters and Cessna Caravan aircraft.

      Desirable Skills / Competencies / Experience:
      NZ CAA Pt66 licence (or foreign equivalent)
      Group 1 Aeroplanes/C208 and Group 2 Helicopters/AS350 Airframe
      Arriel Engine rating
      PT6-114A engine rating
      Avionics experience/qualifications desirable

      Positions in SE Asia offer a competitive remuneration package, which includes;
      • Salary dependant on experience level (Paid in USD with tax benefits)
      • Furnished accommodation paid for by the company
      • Field allowance (for nights away from home base)
      • Bonus of 15% of gross salary, payable for every 12 months service.

      3. Aircraft Refuel Truck Driver


      Helicopters (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Truck Drivers with a background in transporting and handling dangerous goods. Opportunities exist within our FESA and DEC fire fighting contracts for individuals to join on a contract basis for the Perth Fire Season (approximately December to April). You will be required to drive fuel trucks to various destinations to refuel aircraft within limited time constraints dependant on each individual scenario. The successful candidates will be based between Perth and Busselton and will maintain a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.

      The successful candidates will be experienced truck drivers with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Due to the nature of the work, strong safety awareness and the ability to deliver under pressure is essential. This position also requires a strong work ethic and a passion to work within the aviation industry.

      The successful applicants will hold:

      Heavy Rigid Licence
      Clean driving record
      Bulk Dangerous Goods Licence
